How to prep for your empowerment session

Everyone wants to look & feel their best and over the years I've found a few things which help both on the day and leading up to your session which can help you prepare and not have you running around on the morning.

ON THE DAY:

  • Wear loose fitted clothing/lingerie and a top which is easy to remove, so it doesn't ruin your make-up

  • Eat a light meal to ensure you don't feel light headed during your shoot

  • Style your hair as you love it the most

  • If you're doing your own make-up then do this however you feel most confident, whether it's full glam or natural

THE DAY BEFORE:

  • Remove any tags from lingerie, including any long permanent ones

  • Pack your boudoir bag

  • If you do hair removal then shave the morning the day prior or wax 3-5 days before

3-5 DAYS BEFORE:

  • Have a fresh manicure/pedicure either at home or a salon

  • Finalise your outfits/lingerie choices

  • Drink plenty of water to hydrate the skin

THINGS TO AVOID/BE CAUTIOUS OF:

  • Spray Tans: These can make the skin appear orange on camera and any darker spots like knuckles or knees & tan lines aren't edited afterwards

  • Alcohol can increase any bloating and dry out the skin
