Top 5 accessories for your shoot

Let’s be honest…the only thing you need to bring to your session is YOU! You could forget your lingerie and we will still make it work, but bringing accessories is a great way to change up your session style or add something unique.

It’s the difference between sensual and soft, it’s all about you so anything that adds to your style and shows off your personality is a win!

Here’s a peek into 5 of my favourite types of accessories, in no order!

1. Flowers

Florals will always be some of my favourite things to bring as you can incorporate colour and style to suit yourself. These are a nice addition for some bridal boudoir sessions to as you can pick a flower from your bouquet and create a colour scheme or theme around it.

2. Lingerie additions

The list here is endless but fishnets are a great additions which bizarrely help you feel a little covered. Harnesses and gloves are always fun and lean to a lightly edgier look and style. Cuffs (think more Honey Birdette than fluffy) certainly add spice to your session and stockings are a must if you’re bringing suspenders and belts.

3. Food/drink

It’s my new favourite thing, but it’s here for now….honey, cream, champagne, cake…fuck it bring pizza if you really fancy - it’s your day! Depending on your choosing, they’ll add to the overall vibe of your end images.

Just be prepared to spending longer cleaning it off than putting it on!

4. Robes, shoes (and the occasional veil)

Robes are the best accessory you can bring, ESPECIALLY if you’re a little nervous or not sure how much you want to show during your session. They’re 100% adaptable to your style through design, colour and fabrics AND they don’t have to be expensive.

Shoes are never needed but if you have a special pair or if you’re having a bridal session then these and your veil (if you’re having one) are beautiful to include! So grab the pair that’s hiding in the cupboard that’s too high but you bought them anyway and show them off!

5. Something unique to you

This is a bit vague but if you have a hobby or a special gift. Maybe you ride a motorcycle, have a vintage car or play an instrument. Your session is designed around you ,s o don’t be afraid to get personal.
