Top 5 places to buy wedding & bridesmaids dresses

Finding the right dress can be so hard…where do you even start?! There are so many styles, designers, colours…in-store or online?! I’ve been very fortunate over the years to work with some wonderful designers and and can recommend some incredible bespoke options as well as some off the rack for those on a budget.

If you are braving the online stores, do be aware that you have to be meticulous with your measuring and even then they can a little out - so always factor in budget for alterations if needed.

Here are some of my favourites, in no particular order:

Perfect Fit Bridal Couture - www.perfectfitdressmaking.co.uk
Wendie is an incredible designer based in Leeds who I’ve worked with a number of times in the recent years and I’ve even been able to photograph her recent bespoke collections.

Mae Dae Weddings - www.maedae.co.uk
Lizzie is based in South Yorkshire and not only is she an incredible designer….but florist and stylist too!

Bridal Reloved, Wakefield - www.bridalreloved.co.uk/shops/wakefield
Bridal Reloved is an incredible way to get your designer gown at a fraction of the cost. The ladies at the Wakefield store are so helpful and have a fab selection of designers, sizes and a collection of bridesmaids dresses.

Quinlan Couture Bridal - www.quinlancouturebridal.co.uk
Amber is based over in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and her designs often offer a nod to vintage or alternative eras with a pop of colour.

JJsHouse online - www.jjshouse.co.uk
As with anything online, you have to purchase with caution but I have had several brides purchase from here and have paid for alterations for the perfect fit. The quality of course is not the same as bespoke gown, made for you or a designer piece but you can find some beautiful alternatives for bridal and bridesmaids.
