A HUGE part of what I do in the wedding industry, besides photographing weddings and elopements, is help showcase styles and trends. Working with other incredible wedding industry professionals to share inspiration, new ideas and simply be creative. It’s an opportunity to try something new, create freely and without fear…as let’s face it - your wedding day is NOT the time to trying shit out!
Last year I was lucky enough to create and be invited to collaborate on some beautiful styled shoots and this mini bridal inspiration was no different - little did we know how important these kinds of days would become (to the majority in the wedding industry and couples). Autumn is such a beautiful time of year - the colours, the smells, the cosiness…it also happens to be Vickie’s favourite time of the year. So when she wanted to do so something a little different, within the fall theme, there wasn’t a second of hesitation.
Luxury Events Styling and Florist specialist, Spectacular Scenes, was born out of wanting couples to have a place where there imagination had no limitations. To make the impossible - possible. So a table for 2 or 200 - it’s always going to be wonderful. Sian is an incredible Make-Up Artist (Create the Cover), who’s trained with multiple luxury brands like Marc Jacobs, LOVES colour! So giving her free reign to create as she pleased really brought the magical touch…with a bit of added sparkle!
Vickie knew she wanted black stationery and after working with Vic from Origami Fox on our Disney inspired Alice in Wonderland shoot, there was no other option! Vic created a beautiful velvet finish suite to compliment the set perfectly. Finishing off with one of Spectacular Scenes flower crowns and a black sequined JJsHouse dress - we set to work to create something beautiful.
